Ingredients of Pork Collar Steak & Potatoes
- You need 2 of Pork collar steaks, between 3cm – 4cm thick.
- You need 2 of Large potatoes.
- You need 2 of Garlic cloves.
- It's 1 of onion.
- Prepare as needed of Vegetable oil.
- It's to taste of Paprika.
- It's to taste of Salt.

- 1: Fill a large cooking pot with around 2 litres of oil. 2: Slice up the garlic into 6 – 8 pieces. 3: Make 3 – 4 cuts in the steaks and insert the garlic pieces. Add salt to the steaks. 4: Place the steaks in the pot of oil and leave overnight in the fridge. 5: Grab a cup and add 1 tbsp of paprika, 5cl of oil and mix well. Once mixed, add it to the oil and steaks. Cut the onion in 2 halves and add it to the pot aswell..
- 6: Place the cooking pot on the stove and boil on low heat for 30 minutes. 7: Cut the potatoes in large cubes and put them in a cooking pot. Add salt and boil for 20 minutes. 8: Drain the water from the potatoes and add them to the pot of oil and meat and continue cooking for another half hour or so. 9: When the meat is tender, check by pinching it with a toothpick, take it out along with the potatoes and place in a serving dish. 10: Serve and enjoy….
